At APEX Psychiatry, we are committed to making psychiatric care accessible, respectful, and straightforward. Below are answers to common questions about scheduling, services, payment, referrals, and more.


Are you accepting new patients?


Yes. Stacy Meitler, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, is currently accepting new patients for both in-person and telehealth appointments.

New patient appointments are currently available on Mondays and Thursdays.


Where is APEX Psychiatry located?

What are your business hours?


Our office hours are:

  • Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM


Do you accept insurance?


At this time, APEX Psychiatry is a cash-pay practice and does not currently accept insurance. We anticipate being able to accept insurance by the end of 2026.


What are your appointment fees?


Current self-pay fees are:

  • Initial psychiatric consultation: $250

  • Follow-up appointment: $70


What forms of payment do you accept?


We accept credit card payments at the time of initial appointment booking and follow-up appointment booking.


How do I schedule an appointment?


The easiest and most secure way to schedule is online:

  4. Schedule your appointment.

Once your appointment is scheduled, required intake paperwork and consent forms will be sent to you electronically.


Can I speak with my provider before booking an initial appointment?


Yes. If you would like to determine whether APEX Psychiatry may be a good fit for your needs, you may schedule a 15-minute telehealth phone consultation with Stacy Meitler, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, before booking your $250 initial appointment.


How can I contact APEX Psychiatry?

Do you accept patients currently taking controlled substances?


Yes. APEX Psychiatry is accepting new patients who are currently prescribed controlled substances.


What is your cancellation and no-show policy?


We ask that patients cancel or reschedule appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

Appointments missed without at least 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 no-show fee. This fee can be avoided by cancelling your appointment at least 24 hours before your scheduled visit.

Do you provide therapy?


Our providers offer brief psychotherapy as part of medication-management appointments when appropriate. Providers are trained in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)-based approaches.

Some patients may benefit from more frequent or ongoing therapy. If weekly therapy, specialized talk therapy, or neurofeedback is more appropriate for your needs, we may recommend referral to a therapist or another qualified provider who can offer that level of support.
